Our story starts like that of many entrepreneurs.
We opened our studio out of necessity. Most of us felt trapped at design studios and agencies that limited creativity, and didn't treat people very well. You could say that each of us had somewhat of a "fulfillment" crises. When you're struggling to find fulfillment at your day job, the options for designs can sometimes feel limiting (the design world isn't always so open to workers going from, say, architecture, to graphic design).
How'd we get here?
In 2011, Jim started working on an e-Commerce concept with a few friends. That concept led to learning Shopify (there's that aforementioned necessity), tweaking themes to find the right fit, installing and configuring apps, and all the other little components that go along with launching a shop. That concept didn't work out, but the experience opened the door for freelance e-Commerce web design. Jobs started to pile up and the team expanded. Over the past two years our little team has assisted somewhere between 50-60 store owners through a mix of direct clients and white-label agency work.
And here we are. Simple, right?
